It all started, oh, not long ago. Just a couple kids went into a comic book store, seeing if there was anything new and good. And all was fine until they found the book that ruined them forever. Disenchanted.
It looked to be a harmless thing. The pages were blank, all accept the first. They were foolish enough to follow it's directions; they placed their hand on the symbol that was the downfall to others before them and wish to be a 'super' themselves. As as they cast the 'blank' book away, it drew them back. And then they found themselves falling face first into the world beyond it's pages...
With superpowers.
Everyone there is ethier a person that got pulled in, or the book's creation of a normal person without powers. And all the time, more people are getting pulled in as the book is passed around. And when they get sucked in, they vanish from all but the memory of the ones whom knew them.
The 'supers' decided that the only way to get free was to end the book. The heroes work for the ultimate peace, which they hope will allow them to leave. The villains are striving to reach it through their own bad deeds. And then there are others whom only look out for themselves i nthis topsy-turvy world that is the mirror image of their own.
Come on in, there's always more room for another to be disenchanted.
